Poor Olive. She's had a rough time. Olive was bought by her previous owner from a street vender selling her in a tiny cage. She was then passed on to a different home and eventually to a foster family with our rescue working on getting her a Forever Home. Little Olive ad bladder stone that was the size of her bladder and she had surgery to remove the stone. Surgery was successful and she eats prescription food in order to not have further stones. However, Olive has issues with urination. The vet states she is unable to control her urination to a certain degree. She is able to wear diapers, but there is always work with her to try and train to use the potty pad. Olive is an intelligent, sweet little girl with a lot of personality. She does well with people of all ages. We are looking for a specific Forever Home and Family for Olive. We hope she can be either an only pet or that an other dog would be similar in size and not an alpha dog. We are searching for an adopter who either has experience with dogs who have had bladder stones and incontinence issues or who has the time and energy to learn. We are looking for a Forever Family and Home where Olive will be happy and settled and enjoy a long life ahead of her.
