What is Resilient Dog Rescue ’s adoption process?

Our multi-step adoption process includes an application, meet and greet, animal introductions when applicable, and a home check. We highly value the time and effort put into adoption applications, and encourage thorough, thoughtful responses as this is our primary avenue for getting to know your family. With that in mind, please be aware that applications with excessive blank or one-word responses may not be considered. Animal introductions will be done for each pet currently living in the household. While we are not here to judge your lifestyles, we also conduct home checks to ensure that the household and backyard will be a safe living environment for a SacRDR dog. The Declaration page of your Homeowners Insurance policy or an approval letter from your landlord must be submitted with your adoption application; these documents are required to ensure that your HOI or landlord covers/accepts the breed you are applying to adopt. Olive is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Olive good with other animals?

Olive is not good with other dogs and cats.

When can I meet Olive?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Olive?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
