Let me tell you how I landed here.<br/>I was sitting at San Bernardino Shelter, pending adoption... all dressed up with nowhere to go. My people never showed up. Not even a goodbye kiss. Then my tummy started getting round and everyone thought I was pregnant. Plot twist? I wasn’t. Freedom Frenchie Rescue swooped in, did the X-rays, spayed me, and guess what? No babies. Just me. Just Olive. One of the rare ladies who never had puppies — and I plan to keep it that way, thank you very much. <br/><br/>My Personality (Certified Lover Girl)<br/>Want a wrinkly face you can squish and kiss all day long! That’s me! I am absolutely amazing. Yes, I said it. I’m a cuddle bug on expert level. If you move, I move. If you sit, I sit closer. If you breathe... I’m right there. Your 5 o’clock shadow? That’s me. And it never goes away. I am not just your Valentine. I am your permanent shadow.<br/>I’ve got a big ol’ block head and the BEST ears. Sometimes they’re camera shy, but hand me a toy? Oh baby — I prance. Ears up. Chest out. Showing off like I just won Best in Show at the Valentine’s Day parade.<br/><br/> Medical Update<br/>I’m a healthy young lady overall! When I first came into rescue, I had a case of kennel cough that really rocked my world, but I was closely monitored and treated with antibiotics and am feeling so much better now. Because of that, my spay was delayed for one week out of an abundance of caution — but I’m happy to report that everything is now back on track. Other than that brief hiccup, I’m vet-certified healthy and fully cleared for adoption! <br/><br/>Snacks Are My Love Language<br/>I love food. I eat all my meals. I will sample yours too if you’re not paying attention. Garbage disposal? Maybe. Efficient queen? Absolutely.<br/><br/>Social Butterfly Energy<br/>I get along with all the dogs in my foster home. Lover, not a fighter. I like to socialize, go for car rides, hang at the park, and take long walks. I’m learning this leash thing and doing really well. I don’t totally understand the doggie door yet, so potty training is still a work in progress — but I’m trying!<br/><br/>The Fine Print (But There’s Not Much)<br/>As of now? There’s really nothing negative to say about me. I’m your typical Frenchie with a little bulldog spice mixed in. Sweet. Silly. Loyal. Obsessed with my humans.<br/><br/>Olive is vaccinated, spay and microchipped, she is being fostered in Glendale, AZ. Her adoption donation fee is $1100.00 and you can apply for her at freedomfrenchierescue.org. We will update her profile as we receive more updates from her foster.<br/><br/>*Please Note: All learning and guidance must continue in their new home. A dog’s behavior can change with a new environment and energy, and every family’s dynamic is different.
