Hi, my name is Olive! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:<br/><br/>-Personality: Friendly, loyal, goofy, playful, adventurous, affectionate<br/><br/>-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history, but based on our observations at the shelter it seems like she would do fine with respectful, dog-savvy kids of most ages. Everyone will need to meet at the shelter first to ensure they're a good match!<br/><br/>-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, will need slow, supervised introduction.<br/><br/>-Can Live with Dogs: Olive has tested well with other dogs at the shelter and should be fine living with another social dog! Initial intro done at WHS!<br/><br/>-Can do Apartment Living: Ideally no-- this large, active working breed would prefer a home with a yard (fenced would be great, but not required).<br/><br/>-Potty Trained: Yes<br/><br/>-Bite History: No<br/><br/>-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No<br/><br/>-Energy Level: Medium/high<br/>-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Spay/microchip<br/>-Additional Information: Calling all German Shepherd people! Meet Olive: your classic loyal, loving, super smart GSD who's ready to find a forever family to call her own. Olive came to us as a stray so we don't know what her life was like before this, but she seems to have a great foundation of basics and should be able to fit well into most active households. We'd love to see her go to an adopter experienced with the breed, or at least one with a solid working knowledge of the breed/traits. German Shepherds are highly intelligent dogs who need lots of exercise and mental stimulation in order to be happy (and stay out of trouble!) Olive is the perfect mix of energy, smarts, snuggles, and silly antics. She loves nothing more than to be with her human and we know she is going to make a 10/10 lifelong adventure buddy for the right person.
