Meet Olaf!<br/><br/>Olaf is a gentle little soul looking for the patient, understanding family he has always deserved. This adorable 8lb Miniature Poodle was born on 4/20/23 and came from a breeder who was finally shut down after years of breeding. Before rescue, Olaf lived in a home with numerous (28) other dogs and had very little exposure to the outside world or life as a cherished family companion.<br/><br/>Because of his past, Olaf can be a little shy and reserved when first adjusting to new people and environments. However, his social skills have come a long way in foster care, and once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality truly begins to shine. He has a quiet, gentle demeanor and enjoys simply being near his people in a calm and peaceful environment.<br/><br/>Olaf is seeking a quieter home with adults only who can respect his sensitive nature and allow him time to settle in at his own pace. He has become much more confident with consistency, patience, and routine, and his foster family has loved watching him continue to blossom.<br/><br/>Having never properly learned how to walk comfortably on a leash, Olaf will REQUIRE a secure physical fenced yard for his safety. He is not a candidate for tethering or invisible fencing, and extra caution should always be taken when outside while he continues building confidence and learning new experiences.<br/><br/>Olaf does well with other dogs and seems to enjoy canine companionship. He also does not mind cats. He has demonstrated a good understanding of house manners and is learning more every day about what it means to simply be a loved family dog.<br/><br/>As a Miniature Poodle, Olaf will require regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and comfortable.<br/><br/>Most of all, Olaf is searching for a family willing to give him the patience, kindness, and unconditional love he has missed out on for far too long.
