Ojay's Story

How this pet arrived: Ojay was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on February 23, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:Say hello to Ojay! Ojay is a gentle, thoughtful pup whose sweet personality is starting to blossom a little more every day. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with a little time and patience, his charm really begins to shine through. Once he feels safe and comfortable, you'll start to see just how special this sensitive boy is. Ojay will thrive in a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace and build confidence. Having a laidback canine companion to show him the ropes may help him adjust and feel safe. A quieter household will suit him best, somewhere with a steady routine and not too much hustle and bustle. If there are kids in the home, they should be 12 or older and join a meet-and-greet so Ojay can make sure everyone passes the vibe check. Ojay is still learning some of the basics, including leash walking, but he's eager to keep learning with someone who will cheer him on along the way. With patience and encouragement, Ojay will continue to grow and show just how sweet and special he truly is. Come meet him today! At SDHS:Ojay has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Shy/Fearful Dog: Ojay requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about him. Primary Color: White Weight: 10.2lbs Age: 5yrs 3mths 1wks Animal has been Neutered
