Odyssey's Story

Meet Odyssey! Odyssey is a 2-month-old, 12lbs, female Rottweiler (birthdate: 11/06/25). Odyssey is a very sweet baby. She did come to us with a broken heart. Once the heart murmur with a grade 3 of 6 was found, she did have an echocardiogram. She has since been declared as having an aortic flow murmur and mild mitral valve dysplasia. She does not need medication at this time. She will need a recheck echo in 6-9 months. As long as she stays mild, she should live a full life.

The adoption fee is $700. This includes the spay/neuter, dental cleaning, microchip, heartworm test, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation and all core vaccines.

If you are interested in adopting Odyssey, please e-mail adoptions@thelovepetproject.org with "Odyssey" in the subject.
