Odin 's Story

Odin is a big lug of a dog who has had a rough year. For some unknown reason Odin was abandoned along with his friend (Great Pyrenees male) and left to fend for himself for months. He was thin and weary then but he is getting near his healthy weight and wants nothing more than to form a serious bond with another large/giant dog. His history as a livestock guardian is unknown and right now he would run away if let go on a large property but perhaps once he pairs with another livestock dog, he can fit into that lifestyle. Alternatively, he would be a great companion dog for another big dog(s). He is housebroken and good with dogs. Unknown how he is with cats or kids. He is shy and reserved so he needs someone who will go slow with him and let him gain confidence in humans again. He is sweet natured so we know that it’s only a matter of time before he bonds with his new owners. He loves to lope around and play with the dogs he is fostered with. Located in San Antonio TX.
