Odin's Story

Odin is 1-year-old purebred Australian Shepherd with a fluffy coat and a big, happy personality to match. 🐾. Odin is a happy-go-lucky guy who truly loves people. He greets the world with a wagging tail and an easygoing spirit that makes him a joy to be around. Playtime is one of his favorite things—especially when toys are involved—and he’s always ready for a game or a little fun with his humans. This sweet boy gets along wonderfully with cats and other dogs, and he especially enjoys having a canine buddy around to play with and take cues from. Because of that, Odin would do best in a home with another friendly dog.
Odin is deaf and a little visually limited, but you’d hardly know it most of the time. He navigates life with confidence and has adapted beautifully. He walks nicely on a leash and, like most Aussies, is smart and eager to learn—he just communicates a little differently. Odin is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccinations. He is crate trained and housebroken.
With his playful spirit, loving nature, and fluffy good looks, Odin is ready to bring joy to a lucky family. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling, Odin might just be your perfect match. Please send an email to kathie@herdinghaven.org if you would like to meet Odin.

Our Mission
Herding Haven rescues herding dogs from shelters where they have been deemed "unadaptable" due to physical, medical or behavioral issues (or sometimes just because the shelter is out of space). We place them in foster homes, rehabilitate them and then find them "forever" homes.
