Odie's Story

Odie is still in foster care. He is now 3 years old. He is a love bug and so sweet. He still loves to play but due to being 3 she has quieted down. He is great with his friends but can be a scaredy cat around other new dogs. He would need a slow introduction to new dogs but would make a great friend.

Odie has allergies which seem to be seasonally. We are not sure what the actual allergy is but it comes in the spring and meds keep it at bay. Then come fall it goes away. He is dealing with an over active bladder but his meds seem to help.

He believes he needs to be with his person at all times. He will sit off in a corner and just be happy to be near you. If you work from home he would make a great co-worker.

He loves to play with his friends but will also love to sit and just chew on a bone and chill out. He is crate trained but may have an accident is he is left in too long. He would need to have someone that is not gone for over nine hours a day. He loves to run in the back yard but is ready to come in when you go in.

Do you have enough love to give this sweet boy? He would love to meet you and show you how well behaved he is. He knows simple commands and follows them. He would love to be an only child with a friend that can come over for play dates. He wants all the attention from his person. But if there is another dog in the house, he is okay with that. He even does not mind a small high maintenance dog. He loves children.

If interested in giving Odie a forever home, please complete an application at www.safeanimalhaven.com
