He hasn't been around cats, so we're unsure how he'd do with feline friends. While he hasn't had the opportunity to be around children, he is friendly and social with adults, and we don't anticipate kids being any different with proper introductions and supervision.<br/><br/>Like many young Heelers, Odie is intelligent, energetic, and eager to learn. As with any puppy his age, he would benefit from some basic obedience training to help him become the very best companion. The good news is that he already has excellent recall for such a young pupa wonderful foundation to build on! He'll thrive in a home that can provide him with structure, consistency, and a job to do whether that's hiking, agility, ranch chores, or simply being your loyal adventure buddy.<br/><br/>Odie's past included spending long periods kenneled, and because of that he is very fearful of being confined.
