Oats's Story
Meet Oats, a SUPER sweet ~6 year old spayed female poodle/doodle mix, weighing about 42 lbs! She was picked up as a stray by animal control in east TN and has been transported to New England to find her furever home! She is currently being fostered in southern NH.

Oats's coat was quite matted and unkempt when she came to us, so she has been shaved. We can't wait to see her transformation once her hair starts growing back in and her coat is properly cared for!

Despite a neglectful past, Oats is a very happy and friendly girl who loves everyone she has met so far! Good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. She is a docile, mellow girl who would make an excellent companion. Looking for a cuddlebug? Oats is your girl! She loves to be held and pet, truly a super sweetheart!

Oats is medically up to date and housebroken. Apply to meet this special girl today!

Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other less desirable dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
