WeâÂ€ÂTMre not sure how this adorable, wiggly, 27-pound bundle of joy ended up with such a delightfully silly name, but honestlyâÂ€¦ it fits her perfectly.This 8-month-old maybe-Feist, maybe-Lab mix is packed with personality and puppy charm.Oatmeal came to us from a loving home where it turns out she just had a little more zest for life than they were ready for. SheâÂ€ÂTMs all about fun, movement, and soaking up the world around her.Like any young pup, Oatmeal is still learning the ropes and will thrive with guidance, consistency, and plenty of positive outlets for her energy. Give her a chance to run, play, and learn, and sheâÂ€ÂTMll reward you with endless wiggles, love, and laughter.The Haywood County Animal Services Adoption Center is located at 453 Jones Cove Road, Clyde, NC 28721. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 12pm - 5pm and Saturday 12pm - 4pm. Closed Sundays. Here is a detailed overview of our adoption procedure and requirements: Adoption Application Process The adoption process begins with a verbal Q&A session conducted by our trained Adoption Counselors. This takes place when you visit our facility and meet the animals available for adoption. Our counselors are dedicated to helping you find the perfect match based on your lifestyle and preferences. Adoption Criteria To ensure a successful adoption, we have established a few important criteria: Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to adopt an animal. Identification: A valid photo ID is required for verification purposes; i.e. State, Military or Passport ID. Adoption Fee: The adoption fee must be paid in cash or by check, as we currently do not have the capability to accept debit or credit card payments. Completing the Adoption Once both you and the Adoption Counselor agree on the best furry fit for your family, the following steps will be completed: Paperwork: Our Adoption Counselor will handle all necessary paperwork, ensuring you leave with all required documents. Documents Provided: Adoption Contract: You will receive a copy of the Adoption Contract to sign, along with a copy for your records. Rabies Certificate and Rabies Tag: This document certifies that your new pet is up-to-date on rabies vaccinations. Medical History: You will receive a record of your pet's medical history, providing transparency and peace of mind. Spay/Neuter Receipt: Proof of spay or neuter surgery through the ASPCA or Haywood County Animal Services Adoption Fee Receipt: A receipt of the adoption fee payment for your records.
