Oakley's Story

Oakley is a loyal, playful girl who just wants to feel safe, loved, and part of her forever family.

Oakley is a sweet girl with a big heart that has a lot of love to give. She's mostly calm and easygoing, but can get excited when it's playtime! Oakley is loyal, affectionate, and enjoys being close to her people. She does best as the only pet in the home and with livestock with a proper introduction. Oakley has had a tough time trusting new people at first and may bark when unfamiliar visitors come to the home. Once she knows you, she's a loving companion who just wants attention and play time. Oakley is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down. She loves tug-of-war and big balls like soccer balls or beach balls! Oakley is ready for a patient, loving family who will continue helping her build confidence and feel secure in her new home.

Mostly calm but can get excited
Loves ear rubs and attention
Walks nicely on a leash
Knows lots of commands
House trained
Needs a secure fenced yard
Needs time to trust new people
Good with kids and adults
Good with livestock
Loves tug-of-war & big balls
