Meet Oakley<br/><br/>Oakley is a 3 month old Australian Shepherd mix puppy! He currently weighs about 15 pounds and will likely grow into a medium to large sized dog once fully grown. Oakley is currently in Texas, but will be arriving to the Northeast on 1/31.<br/><br/>Oakley is a sweet, soft-hearted puppy who had a tough start to life, roaming as a stray in Texas like so many of our rescue pups. Despite that, this little guy is full of potential and just waiting for the perfect family to help him blossom.<br/><br/>Oakley is very much a typical puppy — curious, playful, and still learning how the world works. He’s on the shyer side at first, which is completely understandable given his background, but once he feels safe and gets to know you, his personality starts to shine. With patience, love, and reassurance, Oakley truly comes out of his shell and shows what a special boy he is.<br/><br/>He would thrive in a home with another friendly dog, as a canine companion would help boost his confidence and show him the ropes as he grows into a well-rounded adult dog.
