Oakley's Story

We know there's someone out there that would love to give this special girl a forever home! Have you ever seen a dog specifically bred to work cattle from sun up to sun down end up scared to death of them? Oakley is that wildcard! Just because she's bred to herd doesn't mean that's what she wants! Oakley would much rather rather be a lap dog with the kids than have to work every single day and we don't really blame her! She is such an old soul that LOVED to be with her people, especially kids and definitely one of the most respectful dogs we've had here. She will gladly let the kids lead her around all over gods green earth and she loves every minute of it. She has great recall, knows basic commands, VERY kennel trained and like we mentioned, she's phenomenal on a leash! The only thing she loved about the farm life was being able to sit on the porch! She would do awesome in a home with any age kids! She is also fantastic with other dogs (even more on the submissive side) and she will let cats climb all over her! We cannot say enough great things about her and we pray she finds the perfect, loving home she deserves! Her adoption fee is $275 and this will include her DAPPV booster, dewormer, current flea and tick, spay, 1 year Rabies vaccine, heartworm test and a microchip. Please call 618-833-4915 to set up an appointment to meet this sweet girl! If you're calling on the weekend just leave us a message and we'll call you back first thing on Monday.
