Oakleigh's Story

Oakleigh joined our rescue a few weeks ago, after being left at the shelter with her brother, Andy. Oakleigh has received expert vet care for a puppy illness and is now fully recovered and ready to find her furever home. She is approximately 7-8 weeks old, weighs 7 lbs. and our vet has classified her as a mixed breed. She is up to date on all the very important puppy protocol.... vaccines, flea and tick, dewormer and heart worm medication. Her foster family says she is meeting all her puppy milestones and her potty training is in progress. She has been socialized around older dogs and lots of humans of all sizes. She loves human attention of course, but she also enjoys romping around the yard with her brother. As with all young puppies this age, she is " all play" for about 30 minutes and then happily plops down for a big nap. She will make a wonderful pet for any family who is ready to take on the adoption of a puppy who will need love, physical and mental exercise, routine vet care and a lifetime commitment.

---
To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html
