O'Malley 's Story

Please research the breed before inquiring.

O'Malley is an incredibly sweet boy who loves being close to his people. He does have a touch of separation anxiety, but he’s already making progress and settling in nicely. He knows sit, down, and space (his cue to give room at mealtime). When it’s time to eat, he’ll go to his bowl, sit patiently, and wait for permission before digging in — such a gentleman.
He enjoys his giant ball (though he hasn’t quite figured out fetch yet), likes his stuffies, and will happily engage in a little tug-of-war. Overall, he’s been pretty laid-back since arriving, preferring to roll onto his back for belly rubs — and he’ll gently nudge you with his giant paw if you dare to stop.
He is calm, well-mannered, and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s done great in public places like the pet store and Blaine’s. He’s housebroken, though he may occasionally need a middle-of-the-night potty break. He doesn’t seem skittish and has adjusted well to new environments.
He wasn’t a fan of being crated and would do best in a home where he doesn’t need to be confined. When he came to us, he weighed 104 lbs and is now up to 112 lbs — growing steadily into his big, handsome frame.
We’re unsure how he would do with other established dogs unless they’re more submissive. He would definitely need time and understanding to adjust
O'Malley is going to make an excellent addition to the right home. A meet and greet will be required to ensure the perfect fit.
