Nymaria's Story

Nymaria is a 5-year-old Shepherd who is ready for a fresh start and a life she’s never truly had before. She came to us from a hoarding situation where she lived outdoors with many other dogs and spent much of her life having litters of puppies. Now, it’s finally her turn to be cared for and loved. Despite her past, Nymaria is incredibly sweet and has a gentle, easygoing personality. She gets along well with other dogs and would do great in a home with a friendly canine companion. Because she has only known outdoor living, Nymaria will need a patient and understanding family to help her adjust to life inside a home. She may have a few accidents at first while she learns, but with consistency and love, she will catch on. Every day will bring new “firsts” for her, and watching her discover the comforts of home will be so rewarding. Nymaria is looking for a kind, committed family who will give her the time she deserves to decompress, learn, and finally just be a dog. Brindle Buddies and Friends's Adoption Policy

All dogs are up to date on shots including rabies, microchipped, tested for heartworm and treated if needed, treated for worms (please note we do recommend taking a fecal sample to your vet as we use simple deworming) and also treated for fleas. All dogs are sent home with matching martingale collar and leash. We do recommend keeping the martingale on as they should not back out of these collars. Adoption fees range from $500 to $750. All animals in the household must be spay or neutered and up to date on shots. If you rent we will need to see proof that you can have animals. We do not adopt bully breeds out to renters.

Our Mission

We are a small 501c3 non profit group helping dogs find furever homes. Most of our dogs come from high kill shelters from the south. Our dogs are all in foster homes with other dogs, some with kids and cats. With our dogs being in foster care we can tell you how they are in the home.
