Nyla's Story

***Nyla***

Hi there! My name is Nyla, and I’m a 1.5‑year‑old, 40‑pound Lab mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. I may be young, but I’ve already been through a lot. I was found as a stray after having a litter of puppies, and now it’s finally my turn to find a family who will love me as much as I’ll love them.

I’m a sweet, cuddly girl who thinks snuggling is one of life’s greatest joys. I also have a playful side and really enjoy my toys or being outside with my nose to the ground smelling all the smells.

I love to run and stretch my legs, so my new family should have a fenced yard or be ready help me stay active with walks, hiking adventures, or regular playtime. I'm still learning how to walk nicely on a leash so I would appreciate someone who is patient with me while I learn good leash manners.

I’m great in a crate (I’ve stayed in one for up to four hours with no trouble), and I haven’t had a single accident in the house. I wouldn't mind having a doggie friend but I don't have to have one either. I've never met a cat but I think I would like to chase them and play with them (and I can play hard sometimes) so it might be best if my family didn't have any cats. I wouldn't mind having children in my family as long as they aren't too small. I get the zoomies and might knock them over.

Most of all, I’m ready to give my whole heart to a family who will give me safety, affection, and a place to call home. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a gentle spirit and a playful spark, I might be your girl.

I can’t wait to meet you and start our new life together.

💛 Love,
Nyla

If you'd like to meet me, and if you are an approved LELRR adopter, refer to the instructions on your approval email.

Otherwise, please fill out an application at:
https://www.lelrr.org/adopt.html

and maybe soon we can start your lives together!!

Be prepared to provide proof of up to date vaccinations and year round heartworm preventative for any current or recent pets that you have owned.

Adoption radius 150 driving miles from Medina OHIO
