Nyla's Story

It’s Nyla! (born 6/1/2024)

Nyla is the last of her litter to be adopted and we just don't understand why.

DNA for one puppy in the litter showed these breeds:

44% GSD
22% Siberian Husky
20% Super Mutt (maybe some Belgian Mal in here)
7.4% Golden Retriever
5.9% Collie

Nyla is 8 months old now and she is smart and friendly. However, like most intelligent pups, she can be a bit reserved in new surroundings. She takes a minute to warming up to new people, she is good on a leash, sweet, playful, loves her toys (especially balls), has been socialized with dogs and cats, and is about 40 pounds. This friendly-medium-sized dog was abandoned as a 6-week-old puppy (6 in the litter) and grew up without her mom or dad, but she had 3 adult dog aunts to helped her learn how to dog and her 5 siblings. Nyla does exhibit some uneasiness around children, particularly toddlers, so we would prefer placing her with mature kids. Once you get past Nyla's cautious side, she quickly reveals her playful spirit. With her gentle demeanor and love for fun, Nyla thrives in familiar settings, eager to engage with her favorite humans and furry friends. A game of fetch or a stroll in the park brings out her joyful nature. This clever pup is ready for a loving home where she can fully blossom and share her warmth with her new family.

Interested in meeting Nyla?
