Nyako's Story

Nyako is a precious Shiba Inu mix.<br/>She is absolutely adorable and so sweet. She is still a bit shy when she meets new people.<br/><br/>She is small, calm and low maintenance... a very-easy going sweet girl. <br/><br/>She is fully kennel trained, especially when there is yummy treat inside. She is potty trained. She has just started to learn to be scratched/cuddled and to walk nicely on leash, but will need someone to introduce her to the world slowly to give her time to adjust to her new life. <br/><br/> She's dog friendly. She would do better in a home with a confident dog or in a quiet home with adults or older quiet kids. She will need an adopter who will give her love and patience. <br/><br/>Please note a fence in yard is required.

Hi there!  So you've decided a furry friend is just what you need?  Please apply on our website, https://bigbonescaninerescue.com to get the ball rolling.  You'll be contacted for a home visit to verify your home is an optimal situation for the pup(s) you're interested in.  At any point, you can make arrangements to meet the dogs you are considering.  Some are in foster care and some are at our facility in Windsor. Big Bones Canine Rescue is located in Windsor, CO.  We have dogs at our shelter location as well as many dogs in foster care all over the state.  We do require appointments to come visit dogs.  Please call or text 970.310.3616 or email us at bigbonesrescue@gmail.com to set up an appointment.
