Shelter staff absolutely adore her—and for good reason.<br/>Nya is a sweetheart who came into our care right before the last snowstorm as she was running loose in the cold weather. While the world outside was cold and harsh, Nya showed us nothing but gentleness, resilience, and a soft hope for something better. She’s had a rough start to life, and it shows only in the way she’s a little shy at first and has scars littering her body—she’s still learning that it’s okay to feel safe. <br/>Once she warms up, she is pure love. She adores people, leans into affection, and has been wonderful with every dog she’s met. Cats confuse her a bit—she’s not aggressive, just unsure. <br/>Nya is well-mannered, walks beautifully on a leash, comes when called, and knows her basic commands. She tries so hard to do everything right, and it melts our hearts every single day.<br/>This girl deserves more than a kennel. She deserves a soft place to land, a loving home, and humans who will give her the patience and kindness she’s been waiting for.
