Hi there! It’s me, Nyx. I have some amazing news to share! I am ready for my FUR-ever home!! ?<br/><br/>I am a 5-year-old spayed female and am very affectionate. I came into foster care as a breeder surrender. I was in pretty rough shape. While in foster care I have been vaccinated, spayed and treated for an infection. I had really bad ear infections that impaired my hearing but with proper care my hearing has improved!<br/><br/>Before I met my foster family, I didn’t have much house training or time living with other dogs… but I have been getting used to both!  I have been making progress with potty training, so I would need a patient human who could help me continue working on that. I also need a human who is willing to give me some extra care and attention, since I am prone to chronic ear infections and have severe allergies that require monthly injections. I will need routine medical follow up. <br/><br/>I am a foodie! Mealtimes are my favorite times of the day. I also like nap times! In between nap times, you can find me exploring around the house, keeping my foster mom company during her work meetings, and running around with my foster brother. When I want to get your attention, I make the cutest little squeaky noises to let you know what I want.<br/><br/>I love having lots of attention and I love to be right by your side! So, ideally, a FUR-ever home where my humans were home a lot to spend plenty of time with me would be the best. If I could be your only dog, I wouldn’t complain at all! Otherwise, I may need some patience while getting acquainted with other FUR-babies in the home. I would love it if you had a yard where I could run and play.
