Nutter Butter's Story

Nutter Butter hasn't had the easiest start to life; she came into our care following a state seizure from a hoarding situation. She is adorable and has very specific needs — she absolutely must be adopted by someone with another confident dog in the home. She's looking for another dog who can guide her, help her feel safe, and show her how to be the best dog she can be! A meet and greet with your dog will come before she meets any people.

Nutter Butter is very nervous around humans and is still learning that people are safe. She needs a patient home where she can set the pace for building relationships. A crate can give her a secure place to relax as she adjusts to new surroundings.

With the right canine companion and patient humans who understand her needs, Nutter Butter can grow more confident and show the loving, goofy dog she truly is!
