Nutmeg is a 9 week old Australian Shepherd mix. She came into rescue with a group of puppies that a good samaritan rescued and asked for help with. The owners were giving them away to anyone that wanted one. There were 8 left, so she scooped them up! Our understanding is there were 2 different moms, but all of the pups have the same dad, an Australian Shepherd.<br/><br/>Nutmeg is a sweet, friendly, social pup. She will be a medium sized dog fully grown. We aren't sure what mom was or what she's mixed with, but she's 100% adorable! <br/><br/>Nutmeg is spayed, microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccines, and has been dewormed. She has also been started on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.<br/><br/>As with all of our dogs, we recommend a basic obedience class to help her understand what is expected of her; and this also helps with the bonding process. <br/><br/>Nutmeg is being fostered in Mississippi, and she will travel north once adopted. Our next available transport is scheduled to arrive on November 28, the day after Thanksgiving.<br/><br/>Nutmeg's adoption fee is $475, which includes transportation and all other associated costs. There are no additional fees.<br/><br/>We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
