Meet Nutmeg - A Little Spice, A Lot of Nice <br/><br/>Looking to spice up your life? Come meet Nutmeg! This gorgeous approximately 1-year-old Shepherd mix is 50lbs of sweet, playful, brindle-coated goodness - with just the right amount of sass and a whole lotta love. Aside from her beautiful smile, her most favorite accessories are the stuffies she carries around! <br/><br/>Nutmeg has a big personality and an even bigger love for her stuffies. When she meets you, don't be surprised if she proudly carries one around in her mouth-it's her way of saying, "Hi! I brought my favorite toy to show you!" <br/><br/>The highlight of Nutmeg's day is enjoying some sunshine and yard time. Getting exercise, going on sniffaris, and cuddles are her faves! But don't forget her love for stuffies! The fluffier the better, but any put a smile on her face. And then there are the real-life stuffies (ie, squirrels and wild bunnies) that sometimes make an appearance in the yard and on walks - Nutmeg finds them extra fascinating and would very much like to give them a chase! Because of her enthusiasm for small beings that scurry around, she needs a home without cats or little children. But don't let that adventurous side fool you! Nutmeg is happy to just stay by your side and enjoy some quiet calm time as well. <br/><br/>Besides having fun running in the yard, Nutmeg also enjoys training with tasty treats (she takes them gently) - she already knows "sit," and "down," and can tackle the agility equipment. She loves to keep active and show off what she knows to volunteers and fellow shelter pups! There are certain dogs she loves to run the fence line with and others she'd rather keep her distance from. So, if her future home has another dog, please bring them along for a supervised, on-leash meet-and-greet to see if they're comfortable with one another. <br/><br/>So, what do you say? Could you be that person who will appreciate her goofy, affectionate nature and unconditional love she's ready to give? She is an approximately 1-year-old, brindle, Shepherd mix. She currently weighs around 50 lbs. She has already been vaccinated and will be spayed and microchipped before going to her new home. Nutmeg is located in kennel A-5. <br/><br/>Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). The cost of her spay surgery will be sponsored!
