Nutmeg's Story

Nutmeg is a playful, energetic girl who brings excitement wherever she goes. She loves stuffed toys, toss them around, and turn playtime into a full-on event. Ropes, toys, or anything she can get her paws (and teeth!) on quickly become her favorite. When she's not entertaining herself, Nutmeg thrives on long walks and staying active-she's got energy to spare and is always ready for the next outing.

Don't let her high energy fool you-Nutmeg is also incredibly polite. She's well-mannered when it comes to handling, making it easy to put on her gear or interact with her. She knows how to "sit" and shows a willingness to learn, especially when she's mentally engaged.

Nutmeg is also quite the conversationalist! She's a talkative girl who isn't shy about sharing her thoughts, especially on walks or when she sees familiar faces. In the shelter environment, she can be a bit reactive or vocal toward certain people or barriers-but this is very likely a result of stress due to kennel life. With a stable home, routine, and guidance, she has great potential to settle and show a calmer side of her personality.

She would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment-think long walks, engaging toys, and activities that keep her busy and happy. If you're looking for a fun, lively companion who will keep you moving and laughing, Nutmeg might just be your perfect match. She's a good dog with a big heart, ready to find a home that understands her energy and embraces her quirky, talkative charm.
