She does not react when I say the word, but understands when I put on my jacket. She gets excited once we get into the hallway. She pulls on the leash (she is searching for squirrels), but we are working on it. She is getting a little better with the "heal" command.<br/><br/>Does your dog have any fears? As far as I can tell, no. She might get startled by loud noises but does not act fearful.<br/><br/>Does your dog have any unique traits, either in personality or appearance? Very inquisitive, she likes to check everything out. She also has a very cute nose!<br/><br/>What are the first three words that come to mind when you think of your dog? Playful, energetic, sweetheart.<br/><br/>Provide a description of your foster dog and the ideal home for them:<br/>Nuqa joined the rescue from Nunavut with her puppies (Celine, Ceilidh, Eve, Mica, Jackson, and Whimsy) just before Christmas. She is a young gal who is ready to be the center of attention without her pups around! Nuqa is full of energy but loves to go on walks and play with her toys. She likes to meet people and other dogs, and would enjoy a canine companion in her forever home. She does well with the kids in her home, and would make a wonderful family dog. Her ideal home would be one that has lots of room to play and is up for adventure. Her adopters should be familiar with her breed and associated needs, as Nuqa is smart and will struggle if she is bored / under stimulated.
