Numi's Story
Say hello to Numi! She is 8 years old and definitely a girl from the country. Her mama is a 50 lb. Hound mix and even though daddy didn't leave a calling card (and no puppy support!), we think he could have been an Australian Shepherd or mix, best guess.

Numi is the smallest of her litter, weighing about 42 lbs but that doesn't stop her from playing with the big kids! She's mostly black but is also brown with some white markings, too. She is very sweet and self assured even though although she will need a lot of patience while decompressing when placed in a new home - she would be best suited for a home with another resident dog sibling. She get the zoomies once in a while but is a fairly laid back dog as a rule. Because she is a hound, she would not be suitable for apartment dwelling.

If you would like to meet Numi please go to www.newbestfriend.org and submit an adoption application. Our adoption fee is $350 and includes spay, vaccinations and microchip.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt nor transport outside the Greater Houston area.
