Nugget may be your guy! <br/><br/>Nugget is an adorable Shihpoo gentleman somewhere in the 7-9-ish years young range—and he would like everyone to know that his birth certificate is none of your business. This happy little guy has plenty of pep in his step and absolutely LIGHTS UP when the squeaky toys come out!<br/><br/>Nugget loves a good game of fetch, playing with his canine friends, and heading out for walks. Once he's gotten his wiggles out, though? He's perfectly content to curl up beside you, snooze in his bed at your feet, or—his personal preference—snuggle right up with you. <br/><br/>And can we talk about the perks of adopting a grown-up gentleman? Nugget already has quite the résumé! He is crate trained, leash trained, comes when called, knows several commands, and does wonderfully for baths and grooming. <br/><br/>Dogs? Absolutely! Nugget makes canine friends quickly and would love a playful buddy. Kids? Yep! He does well with kids of all ages. Cats? Unknown, although we suspect he could do just fine.<br/><br/>House training? Nugget came to us house trained, but like many dogs adjusting to a brand-new environment with another resident dog, he's tried his hand at a little marking. He's currently about 85% back to perfect. With regular walks, consistency, and the occasional belly band reminder—which stays consistently dry!—he's doing wonderfully.<br/><br/>Nuggets biggest request for his forever family is COMPANIONSHIP. He's a social little guy who doesn't particularly enjoy knowing his people are somewhere in the house without him. Why are you in another room when he could be supervising?! He'll settle when needed, but his dream person is someone who is home often and wants a four-legged shadow.<br/><br/>He could happily live as an only dog with plenty of interaction, walks, and playtime, or share his home with another energetic canine friend.
