NUBBY & RILEY

Nubby (m) and Riley (f) are 10 month old siblings from an accidental litter. Their other siblings were sold on a breeder’s website. Nubby and Riley came to us terrified of people due to the male owner in their previous home physically abusing them. These twins have left that behind them and are learning people are not all bad! Lots of attention (even when it wasn’t wanted) has been the key to turning their lives around.<br/><br/>Nubby takes queues from Riley. He lets her be the decision maker and even hides under her when he’s scared. Riley is cautious but sweet. She loves to be pet and will even steal your hand away from petting Nubby to get all the love for herself. They love to run and play in the yard – they chase each other and the other dogs in their foster home. They also love to snuggle up together on the couch. They love blankets and snacks and will lay with you and watch a movie (once their comfortable with you, of course). They are still learning leash walking. They mostly pancake and try to get back to safety so a fenced in yard (6 foot fence) and patient adopters are a must. They previously lived with 5 children ages 5-16 and did well with all of them. They are house trained, but Nubby does occasionally have crate accidents. They are spayed/neutered, up to date with vaccines and microchipped.
