Nubb's Story
Meet Nubb!

Nubb is a neutered male Husky who weighs approximately 60 lbs and is 8 years old.

He came to our shelter in 2023 with his brother from another mother, Hank. Unfortunately in December of 2025, Hank passed away from old age. Nub is now at the shelter all alone and really misses his canine brother.
We would really love Nubb to go home with another dog of similar age and size.

The ideal home for Nubb is one where they will live *inside* the home with his family, but one where he will also have a lot of supervised outside play time and exercise. As is typical of Huskies, he is inclined to explore and run, so a physically fenced in yard is required to adopt.

We have no information on how Nubb gets along with cats or children. Please bring any resident dogs and all family members to the shelter for a meet and greet with Nubb. We always recommend careful introductions to resident felines that include the ability to separate initially.

Please consider giving this beautiful boy the loving forever home he deserves. He will repay you with love and endless entertainment.

Please note that our dogs are adopted as pets only to homes that will keep them inside as part of the family.

E-mail Charleysstrays@yahoo.com today if interested in adopting Nubb.
