This sweet little girl is friendly, gentle, and affectionate. She is always ready with a warm hello and soft kisses. Combine that with her peaceful presence and she truly is a joy to be around.

Nova is the best kind of all-rounder- she loves people, kids, dogs of all play styles, and even does well with cats. Whether it’s chasing bubbles, bringing toys to encourage her dog friends to play, splashing in the water, exploring new places, or curling up for cuddles when it’s time to settle down inside, Nova simply loves being by your side to soak up life’s everyday moments.

She is a smart girl who trains easily, is motivated by treats and praise, and she already knows her basic commands. She is fostered in a home with kids, the youngest being 3 years old, and they have family with young children visit often and she has proven to be a wonderful tag-along pal with all the kids. She loves to share their snacks when invited so watch your goldfish crackers if you don’t want to share. Though she is so gentle she might be able to sneak one without anyone noticing. Not that she would though, she knows her manners. Occasionally she will get excited and jump but her foster shared that she has only ever done it to grown-up and responds quickly to a gentle “off.” Nova could do well in a variety of homes, with or without other dogs. She’s playful and would enjoy a medium-energy doggy friend who can romp with her but also settles down when it’s time to rest. Even feline-friends are welcome! She has lived with cats and is respectfully cautious, more than happy to give them all the space they need. Apartment living is a possibility, too- she walks nicely on leash, is comfortable in new environments and is quiet in general. She is both house and crate trained and she enjoys relaxing with a good chew treat. She has proven to be quiet and content, making her a perfect companion for home with a yard or apartment life.

She may need a little patience at first as she can be shy in brand-new settings, but once she warms up, which only took about 10 minutes with us the day we met, her true, playful, sparkle shines through. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who brightens every space and brings a peacefulness to this crazy life, Nova is ready to bring peace and light to your life.

Ready to welcome Nova into your life?
