Nova had a rough start but has come such a long way in a short period of time in foster care. <br/><br/>She is still a little hesitant when meeting new people but comes around quickly, especially if treats are involved! Once she trusts, Nova is very affectionate and is makes no apologies for trying to sit on your lap and requesting full body cuddles. <br/><br/>She's gentle with kids, is good with other dogs with a proper intro and is learning about cats. If you have a cat, introductions may need to be slow as Nova is still learning that cats can share her space and don’t like to be chased out of the room. She would be best suited in a family with another dog as she truly loves playing tug of war and play fighting. <br/><br/>Her foster brother (shown one of her photos) is an excellent mentor and she is working hard to learn her household manners which include learning that counter surfing is naughty.
