Nova is an adorable and spirited pit bull puppy who started her life in a backpack when a well-meaning student showed up at a local high school with her. For a few months, staff tried to step in and care for her, but eventually Animal Control was called to take the puppy and VPRP<br/>stepped in to bring this sweet girl into rescue. We estimate Nova is around 8 months old and she was recently spayed, microchipped, and is now up-to-date on her vaccines. She has made incredible progress in a remarkably short amount of time in her current foster home. This smart, energetic girl has already learned basic commands like sitting, and is quickly mastering walks on a leash and potty training. She is extremely treat-motivated and eager for praise.<br/><br/>Nova will need a breed-experienced owner who will continue her training, reinforce boundaries, and be consistent with correction.
