What Nova lacks in size, she more than makes up for with her adorable personality and loving nature.<br/><br/>Nova is doing wonderfully in her foster home and continues to blossom every day. She is pretty good on leash, loves other dogs, and would do best in a home with another friendly dog and a securely fenced yard. Having a canine companion has really helped her confidence grow.<br/><br/>Since arriving in foster care, Nova has become both house trained and crate trained. She has adjusted beautifully to home life and takes everything in stride — she is not bothered by the vacuum cleaner, lawn mower, or other loud noises.<br/>When Nova first arrived, she was an under-socialized dog who was unsure of many new things, including stairs. Thanks to patience, love, and guidance from her foster family, she has come such a long way. She now handles the stairs quite well — going up is easy for her, and while she is still a little cautious coming down, she continues to improve every day.<br/><br/>Nova has truly flourished in her foster home and has become not only a stunningly beautiful dog, but an incredibly sweet and gentle companion. ADOPTION FEES: $495 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for application and adoption fees. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog. Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
