Nova's Story

Nova is a sweet guy with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. He can be a little sensitive in new situations, and does best with patient people who let him take things at his own pace. Once he feels safe, Nova's goofy and playful personality really shines through. He's looking for a calm, understanding home where he can build confidence and be someone's very special companion.

Our volunteers find while Nova may be a bit tentative when they first greet him, once they begin walking, his sweetness becomes apparent. He loves being outside, walks well with minimal pulling, leans in for gentle petting, enjoys the "find it game" with treats, sits politely, shakes his paw, and lays down when asked.

Nova has enjoyed living with other dogs, and will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age. Nova is what we lovingly call a Golden Nugget - a pet whose shine only grows brighter once you take the time to know him. He's ready to surprise you and charm you! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 61.6lbs Age: 4yrs 4mths 0wks Animal has been Neutered Adoption Fees: $49
