Nova's Story

Meet Nova! (This is a courtesy posting, this dog is not a CHEW Dog Rescue dog and we have not met him/her. The information provided comes from the dog's owner)

She was abandoned and rescued in Tacoma a month ago and is currently in a wonderful foster home there. Nova is resting and recovering from her spay, which was generously provided by People for Animal Care & Kindness. Her foster is taking amazing care of her, and Nova is now ready to find her forever home.

Nova is a "Big Love" at 80 lbs and 1.5 years old. She is friendly with both people and other dogs. She has medium energy and appreciates a good leash walk, though no running is necessary. She loves to chill on the couch to watch TV and is well-behaved when riding in a car or left home alone; no crate is required.

She is smart, easy to train, and truly a gem. As a "velcro dog," she would make the perfect companion for a family with plenty of time for her. Please note that small children and cats are not recommended due to her size.

(This is a courtesy posting, this dog is not a CHEW Dog Rescue dog and we have not met him/her.
