Nova's Story
Beautiful Nova is the full package...outgoing and friendly with people, kids and dogs. Nova seems to be a mix of possibly an Australian shepherd or border collie and possibly lab? She's the perfect size at just over 50 lbs, not too small and not too big. She lives to play with her doggy pals or soak up all the attention from humans. She is a quick study and is learning all the good doggy manners from her wonderful foster (who just so happens to be a dog trainer).

Nova was an owner surrender who's owner didn't have time or a yard for her and kept her kenneled most of her adolescents. She's now thriving in her foster home with space to be a dog, doggy pals to play with and also getting time and attention from her humans. She is food motivated and will do anything for a treat! She has shown zero reactivity to other dogs or people, even when other dogs are reactive towards her, which just showcases her wonderful temperament.

Nova is now fully vaccinated, scheduled to be spayed and microchipped this week. Nova will make a wonderful family pet. Her play style with other dogs is rough and rowdy so if there are other dogs in the home, we think it would be best if they were on the same level as her so she doesn't overwhelm them.

Nova is currently being fostered in Gold Bar, WA. If you think Nova might be a good fit for you, please fill out a quick application for her on our website:
rescueunleashed.org.
