Nougat's Story

Meet Nougat, a 5 year old golden retriever. Nougat is housebroken and gets along with other dogs. Don't know about cats. Nougat needs a physical fenced yard and another dog in your home for a pal. <br/><br/>We received a call on November 5th from the vets office stating that Nougat was found to be heartworm positive. She is undergoing the 4 months the treatment for heartworm that will last about 4 months. She had her first injection on November 7th. It will be a while before she will be ready to be adopted out. Giving your dog heartworm preventative will save your dog from this painful treatment. <br/><br/>If you are interested in fostering to adopt Nougat when she is ready to be adopted, please read "How to Adopt" at www.gr-rescue.org and follow the directions from there.
