Nougat's Story
Meet Nougat, a 5 year old golden retriever. Nougat is housebroken and gets along with other dogs. Don't know about cats. Nougat needs a physical fenced yard and another dog in your home for a pal.

We received a call on November 5th from the vets office stating that Nougat was found to be heartworm positive. She is undergoing the 4 months the treatment for heartworm that will last about 4 months. She had her first injection on November 7th. It will be a while before she will be ready to be adopted out. Giving your dog heartworm preventative will save your dog from this painful treatment.

If you are interested in fostering to adopt Nougat when she is ready to be adopted, please read "How to Adopt" at www.gr-rescue.org and follow the directions from there.
