? Meet Norman! ? Breed: Chihuahua Mix Born: Approximately October 10, 2024 Status: Ready for his forever home! Norman is a pint-sized bundle of love and energy! This sweet Chihuahua mix is friendly, well-socialized, and adores people. His foster mom describes him as both a lover and a jumper—he’s got the agility to clear a puppy gate with ease and the heart to snuggle up beside you when he’s done playing. Norman is doggy door and puppy pad trained, and while he hasn’t been crated in his foster home, he’s proven to be pretty trustworthy. He’s still working on his leash manners but is making steady progress. He loves to play with other pups, his favorite stuffies, and chew toys. He’d thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard and, if there are children, they should be over the age of 5.

Mikey's Chance Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit Mikeyschance.com to find out about our adoption procedures. We do not have a central facility where you can meet our dogs, because they are in foster homes. Once you have been approved to adopt a dog we will gladly arrange for you to meet any dogs that are potentially a good fit for your home. We carefully review each application and place dogs based on a variety of criteria. Ultimately, we will always act in the best interest of the dog. We will conduct a background check on each adult living in the home. We will contact your vet. Mikey’s Chance also conducts home-checks to assure the best possible placement of all our rescue animals. PLEASE NOTE: It is our policy to only adopt to homes where the current pets: Are up to date on vaccinations; Have been either spayed or neutered; and Have received routine veterinary care. Applications that do not meet this policy shall be denied.
