Nora

Meet Nora. She has the saddest story and just wants to be loved. Nora and a senior ShihTzu were abandoned in the yard after their owner was evicted and the police turned them loose in the (nonfenced) yard without calling AC or attempting to find any other help. They were there for 6 days until we welcomed them into our rescue. Nora was scratching at the abandoned homes door trying to get in. She had no food or water. She jumped right in my car when I opened the car door to get in, so you can say she chose us!<br/>We believe Nora is around 5 years old and she weighs 66 pounds. She is heartworm negative, vaccinated, microchipped and has a spay appointment on May 13. Nora is very affectionate and loves to give kisses. She is so anxious right now, pacing in the yard when she goes out. Her world has been turned upside down! She is dog selective and we do not cat test. She deserves an amazing home after being failed by her previous owners who never returned to get them, as well as the police!
