The good news? I've been making up for lost time and discovering that the world can be a pretty fun place. Every day, I get a little braver.<br/><br/>One of my favorite discoveries has been toys! I love collecting them and tucking them away under couches or in my room for safekeeping. Treats are pretty great too-they help me learn new things and build confidence when I'm facing something unfamiliar.<br/><br/>I'm a smart girl who already knows commands like sit, stay, come, and potty. I like routines and appreciate knowing what's expected of me.<br/><br/>Walks are one of my favorite activities. They help me relax, explore at my own pace, and meet new people. Face-to-face introductions can feel like a lot, but a nice side-by-side walk helps me feel safe enough to get to know someone.<br/><br/>When I choose my person, I choose them with my whole heart. Building trust takes time, but once we've got it, I'll happily stick close by and check in often.<br/><br/>Because of my past, I still appreciate having a cozy safe space when life feels overwhelming. I do best with people who understand I just need a little quiet time to recharge.<br/><br/>Visitors can be tricky for me, and I may need time before I'm ready to make new friends.
