Nora's Story

Nora is a dream girl!

She is low key and lovey and content to hang out with her family and snuggle close on the couch and is very very quiet. She enjoys gentle pets any time and anywhere. She is a petite and slender girlie and has a very waggy tail that lets you know how happy and content she is.

Nora is a darling 18 pound fawn & white Pembroke Welsh Corgi mix
who are vet estimates to be 5-7 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, treated with Frontline Plus flea preventative and had a recent health exam including blood work with normal results.
Nora did test positive for heartworms and has been treated for them.
Our vet just adores her sweet nature and gentle demeanor.
She is an absolutely delightful companion.

During her routine vet exam it was discovered that Nora has early onset cataracts in both eyes but they do not appear to affect her vision. Most all dogs develop cataracts over time and it is common to see them in older dogs who get around just fine and whose quality of life remains unaffected by any vision changes they may have. Cataracts typically develop slowly giving our canine friends ample time to adjust and naturally compensate for any changes that may affect their vision.

Nora is house trained and crate trained and her favorite spot - when she is not curled up on the couch with you - is catnapping underneath the kitchen table. Nora walks on lead very nicely and stays close by, prancing along in her signature Nora style. Nora has been fine with the assorted large and small gentle, well-mannered dogs she has been introduced to. Nora pays no mind to the gentle kitty in her 10foster home.

Nora would do well with calm children who are considerate of animals or in an adult household where she can be pampered and doted on.
A noisy & active clan could overwhelm her sweet and gentle spirit.

Adoption donation $150.

If you are interested in adoption, please fill out an Application prior to contacting us.
