MEET NORA! STATS: 1.5 years old, spayed, American Staffy Mix, 44 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am such a sweet and well mannered girl! I love giving kisses, getting kisses, and sleeping right at your feet. I am energetic and playful, especially with other dogs, but nothing over the top! When I get some good playtime in, I am ready to curl up in bed and start snoring! WHAT I LOVE: I absolutely love other dogs - like A LOT! I have dozens of friends at the shelter and I am such a great playmate with others. I also love anything comfy - beds, pillows, blankets, anything I can use to be snuggled! KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks my playful and sweet personality would make me a good buddy for kids that are respectful and kind towards me. OTHER DOGS: I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup every day here at the shelter! I seriously LOVE dogs! CATS: Unknown HER MATCH: I would be the perfect match for someone who needs a moderately active best buddy and I would do amazingly with another dog sibling. I have the perfect blend of playful and fun energy with just the right amount of lazy snuggly cuteness. I love playing with toys, so it would be a bonus if you enjoy tug-of-war! Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey. Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
