Meet Nona Some dogs don't need much time to show you what they're made of. Nona is one of those dogs. This pretty girl is a reddish Australian Cattle Dog mix with a svelte 35-pound figure, beautiful eyes, and the kind of devoted personality that makes you wonder how you ever lived without her.<br/><br/>Nona came to us from the Navajo Reservation after her elderly owner had to move into assisted living. Through no fault of her own, this sweet girl suddenly found herself searching for a new family.<br/><br/>Nona is barely more than a puppy herself—probably around 2 years old—and she recently finished raising her own puppies. She's already done the hard work of motherhood and now it's finally her turn to be someone's baby. <br/><br/>In her temporary foster home, Nona lives with four male dogs and fits right in. She's polite, social, and gets along beautifully with her canine roommates. She's also doing wonderfully with all the new things that come with being a beloved family dog.<br/><br/> Walks nicely on a leash<br/> Settled into house manners almost immediately<br/> Only two potty accidents on her very first day—and none since!<br/> Lives happily with four male dogs<br/> Smart and eager to learn<br/> Sweet, devoted, and affectionate<br/> A perfect, manageable 35 pounds<br/><br/>Nona is the kind of dog who seems to understand that she's been given a second chance.
