Nona's Story
Meet Nona Some dogs don't need much time to show you what they're made of. Nona is one of those dogs. This pretty girl is a reddish Australian Cattle Dog mix with a svelte 35-pound figure, beautiful eyes, and the kind of devoted personality that makes you wonder how you ever lived without her.

Nona came to us from the Navajo Reservation after her elderly owner had to move into assisted living. Through no fault of her own, this sweet girl suddenly found herself searching for a new family.

Nona is barely more than a puppy herself—probably around 2 years old—and she recently finished raising her own puppies. She's already done the hard work of motherhood and now it's finally her turn to be someone's baby.

In her temporary foster home, Nona lives with four male dogs and fits right in. She's polite, social, and gets along beautifully with her canine roommates. She's also doing wonderfully with all the new things that come with being a beloved family dog.

Walks nicely on a leash
Settled into house manners almost immediately
Only two potty accidents on her very first day—and none since!
Lives happily with four male dogs
Smart and eager to learn
Sweet, devoted, and affectionate
A perfect, manageable 35 pounds

Nona is the kind of dog who seems to understand that she's been given a second chance. She's smart, attentive, and deeply devoted to her people. And while her life has already included more grown-up responsibilities than any young dog should have, she's ready to put motherhood behind her and discover what it's like to simply be someone's cherished companion.

She just needs her people. Someone who will appreciate that gorgeous red coat, that clever Cattle Dog brain, and the enormous heart packed into 35 beautiful pounds.

Now it's her turn to be loved, spoiled, and adored.

If you would like to adopt, please complete an adoption application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/ Adoption Fee: $250, which includes: Spay Age-appropriate vaccinations Deworming Microchip
