Noel's Story

Noel is about a three or four year-old dachshund beagle mix. Noel had been running for more than two months in West Virginia. She was finally trapped or caught, and she was very pregnant. She came to us a few days after being trapped and had her puppies that same evening. She gave birth to 7 puppies. She is the absolute best mama. All of her puppies have now found their forever homes and it’s now Noel‘s turn. Noel takes a minute to get used to new dogs but once she does, she loves to play. Dogs her own size she’s more comfortable playing with of course. She loves to go for walks. She rides good in a car. It takes Noel a while to get used to new people. So Noel‘s best home would have a securely fenced in yard and be a quieter place with not lots and lots of traffic moving in and out of the house. Noel has been to the dog park and is not a fan of it. Too many dogs there trying to run up to her at the same time tend to scare her. She does still go and is much more comfortable in the little dog park.

Noel is currently playing with and teaching another set of puppies how to be a dog and she loves it. She knows how to use a doggie door to go in and out of the house.J

Noel is estimated about three or four years old and weighs about 20 pounds. She is house trained and will sleep in the bed curled up beside you all night long.
