He can go home with his new family on April 18th or so.<br/><br/>Standard Medical & Adoption Info (For All Puppies & Unaltered Dogs)<br/>We want each dog to begin bonding with their new family right away, so you may choose whichever spay/neuter option works best for you. Your dog may return to our vet for surgery when they are old enough, or you may use your own veterinarian in your home city.<br/><br/>A refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) is required regardless of which option you choose.<br/><br/>For puppies: Surgery must be completed once they reach their eligible age window (typically 6–9 months), and proof of surgery is required for the deposit to be refunded.<br/><br/>For dogs over 1 year old: Surgery must be completed within 45 days of adoption, with proof of surgery required for the deposit refund.<br/><br/>About Our Rescue & Transport Process<br/>Most of our dogs originate in Eastern Washington, where we complete the majority of their vetting because it is significantly more affordable. After vetting, dogs are transferred to foster homes in Pierce, King, and Snohomish Counties—however, many are adopted before they reach their foster homes.<br/><br/>Because we are 100% volunteer‑powered, we meet pre‑approved adopters in Ellensburg to keep transport manageable and fair for everyone. If you cannot drive to Ellensburg, we will do our best to arrange a volunteer driver to meet you in your Western WA city.<br/><br/>Meeting Locations<br/>Western WA adopters:<br/>Approved adopters will meet in Ellensburg within the next 1–2 weeks.
