NITA's Story
Around here, we call her “BoNita,” because honestly? Have you seen her? This gorgeous husky/shepherd mix looks like she walked off a telenovela with perfect eyeliner, a silky-soft coat, and enough star power to deserve her own dramatic entrance music. At 3.5 years old and 40 lbs (the perfect medium), Nita is still athletic enough to keep up with the puppies and loves a good race-and-chase session, and perhaps some playful wrestling. She’s smart, vibrant, hilarious, and full of opinions — especially if you try to interrupt one of her very important husky monologues. This girl does not simply “hush,” she responds. Nita is crate trained and fully potty trained, has recently been professionally groomed, and is deeply loyal to her people. She’s dog-friendly (with proper introductions), good with kids, but not a match for cats or smaller critters thanks to her enthusiastic prey drive. No squirrel goes unsupervised in her backyard! Like any true Texas diva, Nita sheds with confidence, loves with her whole heart, and absolutely expects to be admired from every angle. She’s fully vetted, spayed, heartworm negative, and ready to bring beauty, brains, and a little fun to her future home.
