Nita is: Housebroken Crate trained (fine overnight and during the work day) Knows sit and paw (shake) Social with large and small dogs, or fine as an only dog Loves fetching stuffies and tennis balls Lived in house and apartment settings Excellent in the car The two gentle, respectful kids in her foster home are big fans of this cute girl and lovingly call her Nita Bonita. She is the kind of dog who loves her people with all her heart and has been waiting a long time to know what it is like to be part of a family. She enjoys long walks in the cooler morning or evening hours, as well as jogging and hiking. She also enjoys hanging out and relaxing with her family. Nita is eager to learn and loves verbal praise and petting, as well as the occasional piece of cheese or jerky treat, for motivation. She enjoys regular brushing and needs protection from extended time out in the heat due to her plush, super soft coat. She is also good about baths and nail trims. Nita is currently a little overweight, and ideally should be in the 40-45lb range. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and up-to-date on her vaccinations and heartworm preventative.
